Liz Lacey is the co owner of Red Hot Glass, which is located on the Paarl Spice Route. Her work is located within the world of contemporary glassware design with an evident sense of colour awareness and compositional design. The studio was established over 20 years ago, in Johannesburg but moved down to the Cape in 2002. The skill of blowing molten glass is one that requires immense practice and patience and is something that Lacey has been working on for the past 20 years to the extent that she was awarded a World Class status. At the Red Hot Glass studio, Lacey and her partner David Jackson host viewings where visitors can watch the formation of the incredible glass artworks.
